Calling All Infographic Designers!

PosterBrain.com is sponsoring the Design The Future infographic contest for the best Utopia or Doomsday infographic poster.  The grand prize will be a 16GB iPad2.  Plus random prizes will be awarded throughout, no matter what everyone will get something.  Instead of giving you a subject for the infographic we will provide the data and you will create your own subject.  Data MUST be pulled this data spreadsheet available on Google Docs.  This information was pulled from worldometers.info.  THIS IS THE ONLY SOURCE you can gather data for your infographic from.  Judging will be based on creativity, aesthetics, clarity and the story that your infographic tells.

Contest will end when they receive 50 Entries!  So act fast!

How to enter:

1. Email your infographic poster to poppy@posterbrain.com with your contact info and poster explanation*.
2. Include what you wanted people to get from your infographic poster.
3. Once we have received your submission we will post it on our Facebook contest page where you can invite folks to vote/like the best poster on our FaceBook contest page.

*we would love to hear why you created your infographic and what you would like people to take away from it.

Topics, Info and Tools

The topic can be on anything you would like it to be as long as you use ONLY the info provided.  We are looking for serious, funny or simply interesting infographics.  You can use any means or tools to create your infographic.

Judging Criteria

We are looking for the infographic that tells the best story.  

• Creativity - The way you tie your information together to present your topic.  
• Aesthetics - The visual aspect that makes up your infographic.  
• Clarity - How clear the topic and information provided is.  This includes the visuals you use to represent your facts.  
• Community - 33% will be on how many people “like” your image on our Facebook contest page. 
  
  
  
• Explanation - We would also like to hear why you created your infographic and what you would like people to take away from it.  This category will not affect the judging but is required when submitting.  Just a reminder, your infographic does not need to be serious.  So, if you have figured out a way to show the correlation of rainbows and babies being born in a fun way, be proud and tell us why. 

Awards

Everyone who enters will also get a free 18x24 poster with any order they place with posterbrain.com.  The poster does not have to be the same image as the poster you pay for.

Random prizes will also be awarded to participants.  But those are a surprise!!
