Front End Developer
If you are a software or web developer looking to work on artistic and data-rich projects, then this is the right position for you. Developers at Graphicacy create interactive graphics, analysis tools, and data visualizations for our clients and products. We are a small team that works fast–as such, we want to work with people who are forward thinking, self motivated and excited about life.

Please include your portfolio (or links to projects), noting which part of each project you were responsible for and what you liked about each, and/or links to your Git, Twitter, or other accounts where you post your creations.

Required

- Experience with building interactive web-based tools using HTML, CSS and Java script (d3/jQuery/backbone/angular would be ideal)

- Ability to write clean, standards-compliant code that works across browsers

- Ability to work closely with designers and translate comps and mockups into functioning code

- Interest in creating a great user experience

- Strong communicator of both technical and nontechnical issues

- Ability to keep to deadlines

Bonus points

- Experience with back-end technologies (RoR, Django, PHP)

- Statistical analysis experience and ability (SQL, R)

- Knowledge of mobile-first development
