The statistics are completely unsurprising. The tone of the ad -- that this is somehow a problem -- is misleading. Canada has a very short growing season. It is more economical to grow things in other parts of the world and ship them to Canada. Better for the environment too.
Forget the message! That was a tour de force of infographic technique!
